I know Vangaveeti better than he does: Ram Gopal Varma

Amidst all the controversy surrounding his latest film Vangaveeti, director Ram Gopal Varma evoked quite a stir when he announced on Sunday that he knew the slain politician and faction leader Vangaveeti Ranga (on whom the film is based) better than his wife Ratnakumari.

“I know Ranga Story more than Ratnakumari and Radha bcos Ratnakumari doesn’t know what Ranga did outside home and Radha wasn't even born (sic),” he wrote.

RGV added, “Even Vangaveeti Ranga doesn't know his own real story more than me because I know his story through others also (sic).” This comes in the wake of the director talking to the Vangaveeti family who have apparently threatened him.
