Payal Rajput is reportedly livid with the makers of a Punjabi film she had signed up for. Harbhajan, a Canadian, roped in Payal as his film’s leading lady and the shooting was supposed to happen in Canada from January.
But apparently, at the eleventh hour, the makers asked Payal to come alone, and not with her guardian. This has annoyed the actress big time.
“Being a girl, how can I travel alone, and that too during this pandemic? Isn’t that unreasonable? What if something happens to me?” Payal asks. She alleged that the filmmakers did not make any effort to process her guardian’s visa.
The RX100 actress reveals that she had informed all her other filmmakers that she would be busy in January and February. “Now since I am not shooting for the film, I feel my dates have been wasted,” she says.
“The director said he would lodge a complaint against me for not coming to Canada, but I feel I have a valid reason,” she signs off.
