Bellamkonda Srinivas is confident about his second film Speedunnodu as he feels that the subject is apt for him. “After my debut film I heard nearly 35 to 40 subjects but nothing excited me. At that time my father saw this Tamil film Sundarpandian. He liked it very much and suggested a remake,” says Srinivas.
He adds that director Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao too was interested in the film and they teamed up.
“We have made a lot of changes from the original, but not to the climax, which is the ultimate. I have shown the film to nearly 80 people, mostly my friends and relatives, and they didn’t speak after the film was over. The climax haunted them and I am sure after it releases everyone will feel the same,” adds Srinivas.
Tamannah has done a special song in the film as she had done for his debut film too. “Yes. Everyone wants to see Tamannah after the success of Baahubali. Actually I was supposed to do a film with her under the direction of Boyapati, but it was shelved after launch. We are good friends and she agreed to do the special song,” he says.
Interestingly though his father Bellamkonda Suresh is a popular producer, this film is being produced by Bheemaneni Srinivasa Rao.
