He recently announced that he would never display box-office figures on his films’ posters, despite his last release Rangastalam being a hit. And he also said that the film’s success was entirely due to the efforts of the director and the rest of the crew.
Now, we hear that the actor recently made a generous gesture on the sets of Sye Raa in Georgia — he gave every one of the unit members an allowance and told them to buy whatever they wanted with it. A source from the unit says, “Charan knew that unit members would need dollars to shop in Georgia, so he gave all the assistants some pocket money. It’s a very good gesture.” Now they’re all raving about how much the actor has changed for the better over the last couple of years. “He is very positive, and he doesn’t get angry if something goes wrong,” the source adds.
