The Telugu film industry has failed to rise to the occasion once again! Recently, legendary producer K. Raghava passed away and nobody from the industry turned up to pay their respects. Not only had he produced around 25 super hit films, he was also one of the people who saw the first ever Telugu film.
This isn’t the first time the industry’s producers, directors and actors were too busy with their schedules to even take out a few minutes to pay homage to the departed. A similar nonchalance was displayed when actor Dharmavarapu Subramanyam passed away.
It is to be noted that it was Raghava who gave the industry directors like Dasari Narayana Rao, Kodi Rama Krishna and many others. “When Dasari passed away, some people organised a tribute but no one turned up for it. If they can do it for Dasari, why aren’t they doing it for Raghava?” asks a filmmaker without mention his name.
