Actress Siddhi Idnani is all set to make her Telugu debut in the forthcoming film Jambalakidi Pamba, a comic caper starring Srinivas Reddy.
Talking about the film, Siddhi says, “I’m glad to make my debut in a quirky comedy! I play a married woman experiencing relationship problems with her husband. What happens when the male and the female are switched is portrayed in a funny manner.”
Siddhi was born and raised in Mumbai. Being the daughter of a Hindi television actress, she was naturally drawn to show-business. Before getting in front of a camera, she worked as a theatre artist.
“I was raised on the sets of television serials, so I always wanted to be an actress. I landed my Telugu debut after I started modelling. I have enjoyed working on this project and would love to do more films in the future,” she says.
The actress recalls her experience when she had to smoke for a scene in the film.
“I was a bit awkward, but I had to do it. My mother was also on set at that time. But being an actor, she understood that the scene demanded it.”
Aside from that one awkward experience, Siddhi had a great time on set. “Srinivas Reddy, Posani and Vennela Kishore’s comic timing had us in splits; I guess the audience will feel the same way when they watch the film in theatres,” she says.
