After being cast opposite Ravi Teja in Khiladi, Meenakshi Chaudhary has now bagged another happening project — Hit 2. Talking to us, Meenakshi says she is all excited about commencing shooting for the Sailesh Kolanu directorial.
“My role in the film has a completely new spin, very different from my earlier characters, and that’s what made me sign the film,” explains Meenakshi, adding that the plot is very gripping.
The first instalment released last year was very successful. “I have watched the first instalment and was in awe of the narration. But I tell you, the second one will be even more gripping and intense. So double the joy,” she says.
The actress says even those who missed the first part can connect to Hit 2.
“Although the film has a connection to the first part, the script and the theme of the second one will be completely independent and different,” she reveals.
Asked whether she had begun prepping for the part, Meenakshi says, “I have not yet begun, but my character is very similar to what I am in real life.” She says she will commence shooting in April for the Nani production.
