Sai Dharam Tej is coming up with a film Winner, directed by Gopichand Malineni. The film unit returned to the city recently after completing a long schedule abroad. “We shot a couple of songs in Ukraine and a special song with Sai Dharam Tej and anchor Anasuya. Raju Sundaram choreographed these songs,” says Tagore Madhu, one of the producers of the film.
He adds that they also shot the climax action episode in Istanbul. “Bulgarian action choreographer Kaloian, who had also worked for Baahubali has designed the climax sequence. In Baahubali, the action sequence took place in snow, and so, we roped him in for our film,” adds Tagore.
The unit will now leave for Ooty and Bangalore for the final part of the shooting. “We are planning to release the film on February 24, on the occasion of Maha Sivaratri,” informs Tagore. Rakul Preet Singh is the female lead.
