Anisha Ambrose has been pretty busy. Though she has just completed the shoot of Fashion Designer S/o Ladies Tailor, the actress has signed up Manchu Manoj’s period drama Okkadu Migiladu based on the times of the Sri Lankan Civil War. In the film, Manoj plays the slain LTTE leader Vellupillai Prabhakaran and Anisha, a journalist.
While Anisha did reveal that she plays a journalist, what’s interesting is that the actress apparently took the role very seriously and prepared a great deal to look the part.
“She wanted to bring in authenticity to the role and watched several footages of journalists reporting from war zones to understand what they go through in such scenarios. She wanted to observe their emotional space at that juncture,” reveals a source close to the actress.
