Roopa Koduvayur stole hearts in her last release Umamaheshwara Ugra Rupasya (UUR). Her character Jyothi received such wide acclaim that it literally earned her the next film. Filmmaker Srinivas Vinjanampati has cast her in his film starring Sohail of Bigg Boss fame. The director roped her in after seeing her spellbinding performance.
An excited Roopa, who has commenced shooting for the film, says her looks and role in the new film will be very different from the earlier one. “The audience will get to see a completely new and different Roopa,” she smiles.
“The film is an entertainer, and it addresses burning issues in society. My role has interesting shades, which is why I have picked up the film,” says the young medico, who wants to become an oncologist.
