3D film theatre at Krishna Menon Museum

The film theatre has been constructed by the Kerala State Industries Enterprises at a cost of Rs 3.36 crore.

KOZHIKODE: The inauguration of the 3D film theatre which was newly constructed at the Art Gallery and Krishna Menon Museum located at East Hill would be held on March 24. Museum and Port Minister Ramachandran Kadanapally will inaugurate the new facility and Pradeep Kumar MLA will preside over the function. The film theatre has been constructed by the Kerala State Industries Enterprises at a cost of Rs 3.36 crore.

“The construction work for the theatre began a year ago”, said museum officials. At a time, 100 people can watch a film in the theatre, which will screen films related to history or archeology. This centre will turn into an educative facility, especially for school and college students, they added. Films related to wildlife, forests, environment, culture and tradition will be screened. Except for Monday, films will be screened all the other days in a week from 10 am to 4 pm.
