Kit Harington lied to entire cast of Game of Thrones

Interestingly, the entire cast was forbidden from referring to the actor or his character's name during the shoot.

After all the waiting and lying for an entire year, the truth was finally revealed that Jon Snow was alive and come back from the dead in the hit Tv series Game of Thrones.

Kit Harington, who plays Jon Snow, in an interview with Entertainment Weekly said he was bound to secrecy about the storyline and not even his family, friends and some members of the cast knew about his eventual return.

According to EW, Harington said, “At first, I thought I would find it fun. This will be a fun game. But I had to lie to a lot of close friends and cast members and crew. The longer it went, the more I felt like I was betraying them. So I did end up letting people in, slowly.”

Interestingly, the entire cast was forbidden from referring to the actor or his character’s name during the shoot. He was instead referred to as ‘LC’ (Lord Commander).

“No one was allowed to say ‘Jon Snow’ on set, ever. Everyone had to refer to me as ‘LC’,” Harington said after his character was finally resurrected in the latest episode, Home.
