Mumbai: Shweta Tiwari has welcomed her first child with husband Abhinav Kohli.
Shweta, who has been a big name in the TV industry, has also featured in films. She had also won the popular TV show Bigg Boss, in its fourth season. She married actor Abhinav, who’s also an actor, in 2013, after dating for almost three years. She delivered the baby boy at Surya Hospital in Santacruz.
Shweta started her career at the age of 19, and has only progressed thereon. Her role in ‘Kaahin Kissii Roz’ came very early in her career. This was followed with ‘Kasautii Zindagii Kay,’ which ran for seven straight years until 2008. She has also participated in many other TV shows and even took part in a few reality shows, both as host and as a participant. Though Shweta parted ways with her ex-husband Raja, she continued to be a doting mom to her first child, Palak.
Dr Shobha Sharma, the Pediatrician of Surya Hospital said, “The baby boy is doing fine. He’s healthy and the process was smooth.”
“We are extremely happy that Dr Cherry Shah our Gynaecologist & Obstetrician chose us to deliver at Surya which is a completely dedicated hospital for women & children. We had no worries as were confident that both would be looked after well,” said a beaming Shweta.
