Shilpa’s wedding date set for Nov. 22

It’s official. Shilpa Shetty has finally announced her wedding date as November 22. The actress, who was engaged to beau Raj Kundra last month in a private ceremony, will tie the knot in Khandala — at her spa business partner’s Kiran Bawa’s farm house — as the couple could not find a suitable venue here in Mumbai. The Maharashtrian hill station has been one of Shilpa’s favourite getaway spots. She often goes there to spend some quiet time away from the hustle and bustle of Mumbai.
Upon their return, a lavish reception will be held on November 24 in the city. Shilpa’s younger sister Shamita, meanwhile, is still closeted in the Bigg Boss house. Shilpa has been trying to get her sister out as soon as possible, as she wants her to be present at the wedding. Shamita had missed her sister’s engagement ceremony last month.
After the wedding, the newlyweds will fly to London, where a reception will be held for Raj’s family and friends. For now, the actress is busy settling the wedding trousseau and jewellery.
