Shah Rukh, Farah have not fallen apart

The fact that Akshay Kumar stars in Farah Khan’s film, Tees Maar Khan, written and produced by husband Shrish Kunder, has fuelled rumours that all is not well between Farah and best friend Shah Rukh Khan.

However, sources say, “Tees Maar Khan was written two years ago keeping SRK in mind. It was put on hold and Sirish was signed on by SRK’s Red Chillies Entertainment to make the film adaptation of the book, The Zoya Factor. This project too didn’t go on the floors. Finally Kunder decided to revive Tees Maar Khan. He approached Akshay who worked with him in his debut Jaan-e-Man as SRK was hesitant to act in the movie, though he loved the script. The film is based on Bollywood and SRK was not too keen on playing a superstar in the film, after similar roles in Om Shanti Om and Billu. Akshay however, was more than happy to say yes, but he wanted Farah to direct the film. Farah, who is waiting for her film Happy New Year to go on the floors, agreed to direct the same.”
