After his first two films evoked a lukewarm response at the box office, Vinay Rajkumar, the grandson of Kannada thespian late Dr. Rajkumar, is pinning hopes on his third venture — Ananthu v/s Nusrath. The film which was recently launched by his star uncles — Shivarjkumar and Puneeth Rajkumar, is being directed by Sudhir Shanbogh. It is said that Vinay’s third one is going to be a romantic comedy, wherein he accidentally takes up advocacy and a Muslim girl’s character Nusrath will be the female protagonist. Will the case of Ananthuv/s Nusrath prove to be a grand success? Wait until the hearing is over for the judgment (release) day.
Shreya in RANDHAWA
Bhuvan Bopanna, who featured in the previous Bigg Boss reality and now a TV actor, is set to make his debut in Kannada film — Randhawa. Shreya Aanchan, the popular TV actress who stood out with an impeccable performance in Ondu Motteya Kathe, is paired opposite Bhuvan in Randhawa, which is being directed by Sunil S Acharya. Noted singer Shashank Sheshagiri has composed music for the film. The film was recently launched by golden star couple Ganesh and Shilpa Ganesh.
ABHISTARTHAM
Amidst experimental movies, the usual horror, suspense, and thriller flavoured films are doing their best to entertain the Kannada cine goers. One such thriller based venture is Abhistartham featuring the debutant Hemanth Kumar, who is paired opposite model turned actress Iti Acharya of Dhwani fame. The film directed by Vijay is said to be a love thriller.
