New Delhi: He may be coming back to his roots with his second album "Identity" but UK-based artiste Raghav says that he has no plans to become a Bollywood playback singer.
The "Angel Eyes" hitmaker who had grabbed headlines when he turned down the superhit song "Twist" from "Love Aaj Kal," says that Bollywood is not his priority right now though he is willing to give up everything to work with Oscar winning musician A.R. Rahman.
"I am a singer and songwriter, it is a 50-50 thing and these two passions of mine cannot be separated. I turned down the song because I want to write my own songs and if I get an offer from Bollywood which lets me do both, I will say yes," Raghav said.
But the 27-year-old singer, who performed at the Hard Rock Cafe here in Delhi says that he idolises "Jai Ho" hitmaker Rahman, and is dying to work with him.
"A.R. Rahman is an absolute genius. If he calls me today and says 'Give up everything and come to Chennai and make coffee for me,' all I will say is 'milk or cream sir?' and I am not kidding," says Raghav, who has had 4 No.1 singles on the UK charts.
The singer who gained heartthrob status with his smooth vocals and boyish good looks has also been getting offers to act in Bollywood films and is musing his options.
