After bagging many awards and recognitions for his last film Ottaal, director Jayaraj is now ready with trilingual Veeram, starring Kunal Kapoor. The film will premiere at the opening night of a film festival to be held for the BRICS Summit this year, from September 2 to 6, at Siri Fort, Delhi.
A period drama set in 13th century Kerala, Veeram, follows the story of Kalaripayattu warrior Chandu, who meets a tragic end in life. It is also an adaptation of Shakespeare’s Macbeth. Kunal and his director will be attending the festival in Delhi. They are both excited about presenting the film at the festival.
