Vineeth Sreenivasan in Mohanan's next?

The team, according to sources, is searching for a young candidate well-versed in classical dance.

Reportedly, actor Vineeth Sreenivasan is set to play the lead in Manikyakallu director M. Mohanan’s next. The duo is joining hands for the first time. The four-film-old director is gearing up to tell the story of a dancer in the untitled movie. The crew is on the hunt to find a fresh face to do the heroine part. The team, according to sources, is searching for a young candidate well-versed in classical dance.

Mohanan, who was an assistant to Sathyan Anthikad began his directorial stint with Katha Parayumbol in 2007 starring Mammootty and Sreenivasan in the lead roles. It was followed by a box-office hit Manikyakallu with Prithviraj and Samvrutha Sunil in 2011. Later, in 2012 and 2015, he brought out 916 and My God respectively. Vineeth is presently acting in the movie Aby directed by Srikant Murali.
