There is obviously a lot of change. Her hair is cut short, she is glowing, and Mithun Eshwar says she’s just made her singing debut in a film. Meera Jasmine has been a wonderful and talented singer, says Mithun, who has composed the music for the film.
It is a first for both of them — him as a composer for a full feature film, and her as a singer. The film 10 Kalpanakal, directed by Don Max and produced by Shutter Bugs Entertainment will see Anoop Menon and Kaniha along with Meera Jasmine.
“She was very excited about it,” says Mithun.
“Even earlier, she was to sing once for Ouseppachan sir but that didn’t happen. This one called Vedala Chirakil, written by Roy Puramadam has her singing a punchy number with me and MC Rude. It’s got a rap part and all, and will be the promotional song.” The song will be released next week.
