Much before its release, the songs of Melle had come out and got lauded. Dr Donald Mathew and Vijay Jacob, the musicians, got written about. Now, this Friday the 20th, the film will release in Kerala. The movie, written and directed by Binu Ulahannan, tells the story of a musician dad and his studious daughter coming to their roots in Kerala, after many years in Kolkata. But then Job and Uma have to deal with some unpleasantness until help comes from an unexpected place.
The film will see the actors Amith Chakalakkal, Thanuja Karthik, Joju George, Joy Mathew, P. Balachandran, Vivek Bhaskar Haridas, among others. Cinematography is by Santhosh Anima, and editing, by Sunesh Sebastian. Melle is produced by Johny C. David under the banner of Triyega Productions.
