There’s news from Alphonse Puthren. The filmmaker, who won the hearts of young audience in Neram and Premam turns a producer. Alphonse himself has updated the world about his new role on Facebook through the photo post of a hand-written note.
“My friend Mohsin Kassim is doing a movie. I heard the story, liked it and decided to bankroll. Krishna Sankar, Siju Wilson, Sharafudheen and Shabareesh do the lead roles,” the note reads.
The purpose of the note is yet to begin. The producer was there on a casting call particularly on the lookout for a young female lead. The criteria he has put forward hint that the right candidate is someone who can portray a bold Malayali girl.
