Contessa, directed by Sudeep E.S., featuring Appani Sarath and Zinil Zainudeen in lead roles, has started shooting in Kunnamkulam. The female lead roles are done by Athira Patel and Athulya. The movie narrates the story of two friends Chandu and Saddam and how everything changes when a Contessa comes into their lives.
While Appani Sarath comes as Chandu, Zinil appears in the role of Saddam. Sreejith Ravi, Hareesh Peradi, Sunil Sugadha, Rajesh Sharma, Surjith, Dellas, Baiju Vasu, Dheeraj and Nimisha play other prominent roles. Written by Riyas, the story takes place in the Thrissur-Malappuram border. Rijosh gives music to the lyrics penned by B.K. Harinarayanan, Surabhi and M.S. Kolathoor.
