Vishal's stakes in Mollywood seem to soar. His earlier Tamil film Thupparaivaalan snapped for a big price and did good business and his debut Malayalam flick Villain with Mohanlal where he played a role with negative shades was well received. Now, Shibu Thameens, a popular producer/distributor in Kerala who produced Vijay's Puli and Vikram's Iru Mugan in Tamil has bought Vishal-Samantha Akkineni-starrer Irumbu Thirai for a big price for its theatrical release in God’s Own Country.
The movie features Arjun in a crucial role and directed by Mithran. Close sources say that recently a high-octane action sequence atop a moving train was shot with Vishal taking part without a body double at Thenkasi. Yuvan Shankar Raja has teamed up Vishal after a gap. It is being dubbed into Telugu as Abhimanyudu.
