Drama unfolds as Baahubali scenes get leaked!

Along with the answer to why Kattappa killed Baahubali.

The Baahubali fever has started running high in Chennai! With an unprecedented craze for the second installment of the franchise, fans have already queued up in front of multiplexes and other single screens, since early morning, as bookings opened on Wednesday in some of the suburban theatres and later at night, in Inox. On the other hand, as feared, the makers are also facing piracy issues — as some of the crucial scenes and images from the Tamil version have been leaked online!

Though producer Shobu appealed to fans not to believe such speculations as they had screened only to the various censor boards across countries and did not have a special screening, it is learnt that the scenes were leaked from the Dubai premiere on Wednesday. Reportedly, the pirated DVD screen prints are also available in the market and those who watched them, proudly claim that they know the answer for the most-asked question in 2015: why did Kattappa kill Baahubali?

So, here is the answer to the query, which fans all over have been hung up on, since by the time you read this — the film would have already made its way to screens on special early morning shows. The ‘real reason’ as narrated by those who watched the pirated version goes like this: Kattappa stabbed Baahubali to protect him from the curse of the Goddess Maheshwari to turn into a stone statue in the battlefield. But he is still alive! How? The source did not reveal it fully as he said, ‘it’s a suspense’. Watch it to experience the drama.

Meanwhile, in another alarming incident, producer Shobu posted on his social media handle all about the harassment his team faced on the Emirates flight while returning to Hyderabad from Dubai — ‘Flying to Hyd on @emirates EK526. Airline staff at gate B4 were very rude n harassed our team unnecessarily! Bad attitude n service! I think one of the @emirates staff was being a racist. I fly @emirates regularly n this is 1st time I have come across this kind of attitude.’ (sic)

The airlines in turn reacted to these tweets from Shobu and requested him to send the flight ticket details so that they could look into it. When we got in touch with actor Vishal, TFPC President and Nadigar Sangam Secretary, who is constantly voicing out to curb piracy, he said, “Once the film gets released, we will know from the DVD print, as to where or which theatre they have pirated the movie from. Even if it’s from a screen abroad, we will stop selling films to that particular theatre.”
