Who can forget the roaring comedy portions between Vishal and Vadivelu in the film Thimiru that released nine years back? It looks like the magic will be recreated with Vishal’s upcoming flick Kaththi Sandai under Suraaj’s direction.
Vadivelu, who was dumped from the film industry after having made political remarks in 2012, took the wise call of accepting comedy roles again after his hero venture sank without a trace.
Speaking to DC from Puducherry, Vishal said, “Though we are coming together after a long gap, it’s total fun with Vadivelu sir who is in full form. We shot for 13 days and had a rocking time! He is sporting a new look and it’s going to be a comic treat for the audiences.”
Yet another comedian Soori, who is on a high of late, has also been roped in for the movie. While Vadivelu will enthrall the audiences with his inimitable style of comedy in the first half, Soori is said to take over post the intermission.
Vishal also has words of praise for his lovely co-star Tamannaah — “Suraaj has great comic sense and his writings are hilarious. Tamannah adapted herself well, as she seems to have a flair for comedy.”
After a song that is set to be shot at EVP Theme Park in the city, the lead pair will move to locales abroad — either to Thailand and Cambodia or Georgia to can two more romantic numbers.
