Chandini in female centric horror film

The horror genre is the latest fad doing the rounds in K'wood and AiLa joins it now.

Chandini Tamilarasan is the latest one to join the horror bandwagon. The dusky girl, known for her acting prowess, has been roped in for the female centric horror thriller, interestingly titled AiLa, which is an acronym of Aishwarya Lakshmi. “It’s going to be a new experience for me”, Chandini says although she was tight-lipped when asked if she portrays a ghost.

Directed RV Suresh, the film has Arul Shankar, who played the antagonist in Vijay Antony’s Yeman, and actor Dileepan in pivotal roles. Produced by NRIs Thambi Unni Krishnan (who has made movies with the likes of Mammootty, Revathi and Sivakumar) and Raveendhran, the film went on floors recently. While Hemanth a former assistant of Vettri, handles the camera, Krishanchethan composes the tracks. The film will be shot in Chennai, Kerala and European countries.
