A poster of popular anchor and comedian RJ Balaji portraying a politician with a flag in it was making its rounds a few days back. The radio jockey is also known for raising his voice for various social causes. Just when people were wondering what he was up to, it transpires the real reason is out now! It was a teaser ad for his upcoming flick LKG, which marks his turning as the lead hero.
Priya Anand, who has been missing in action for a while, is playing his pair in the film. Yet another interesting thing is that popular politician Nanjil K Sampath plays the role of Balaji’s father. “Living in the era of ‘Breaking News’, the common man is increasingly more curious about behind the scene activities of politicians. LKG will throw light on these happenings,” says Balaji, who also pens the story.
The political satire and a black comedy directed by Prabhu, the film has Leon James composing the music and cinematography is by Vidhu. To be bankrolled by Isari Ganesh, the rest of the cast and crew of the project are yet to be finalised.
