Heroines bed-ready evil bitches': Producer's wife

Neha Gnanavel Raja makes a startling statement lumping all actresses into an evil group that stalks husbands and wrecks marriages.

In a shocking statement, Neha Gnanavel Raja, wife of Kollywood’s top producer KE Gnanavel Raja, has lashed out at heroines on her social media handle, calling them ‘bed-ready’ and ‘evil bitches’.

Gnanavel Raja is known for making big budget films like Suriya’s Singam and Singam 3, and Thaana Serndha Koottam. He was holding top posts in TFPC for two terms and has been known to be vocal on many issues in the industry. Now his wife Neha is in the news for her daring posts on her twitter account.

Neha was earlier a costume designer for a few Telugu actors before she started working as a costume designer in movies like Suriya-Jyothika’s Sillunnu Oru Kadhal and Karthi’s Naan Mahan Alla more recently Singam 3, all of which Gnanavel bankrolled.

In a series of tweets on Tuesday, Neha accused some heroines to be ‘home-wreckers’ who stalk producers. She also said they are worse than sex-workers and termed them as evil bitches who she would expose soon and beat them up in public.

When her sensational tweets started backfiring on her with people asking if her husband Gnanavel was having extra marital affairs, Neha quickly removed the tweets from her social media handle.

Neha later clarified with yet another post, “I am not here for attention or drama. My post is not my domestic problem, which I brought here. Nor do I have a problem with my husband. It is my encounters and incidents of many around us, as how these bitches constantly follow and chase married men. I had to delete the tweet as it wasn’t doing any good here, but would reach wherever when it takes to bring a warning to all show women……”.

Her revealing posts drew comparisons to popular singer Suchithra’s ‘Suchi Leaks’ when the singer posted many scandalous pictures and tweets of top actors and composers, which went viral quickly and crated shock waves in the Tamil film industry. Reacting to this, Neha wrote, “Let people do their job with ease!! If a woman wants to talk boldly about it, you name it as leaks?”

Thumbs down to Neha rant

Reacting to Neha’s comments popular actress, filmmaker and host, Lakshmi Ramakrishnan, says, “The posts are in bad taste. The way she has vented out her frustration by generalising on actresses with abusive language in no way is acceptable. Already, the film industry is stigmatised, and her statements only add up to the poison. If anyone has a problem and not able to sort it out at home, then come out in open and talk about your issue or take legal measures without pointing out in general.”

She adds, “But many times living in upper society, they are always in the public eye and bound by certain things like image and not able to convey in a straight manner.”

A well-known actress, on condition anonymity, says, “I haven’t read her tweets and came to know of it from friends. By reacting to her ranting, I don’t want to make her big. She might be talking like this out of her personal frustratio”

Kasthuri, known to be vocal about many issues, said, “I think these tweets were an outburst of rage. The very fact that they were deleted later on proves better sense must have prevailed. Because, if it has been some kind of bold exposure, they could have stayed and need not be removed.”

She went on to say, “On a general note, those who have personal problems should try and resolve within the family and should not accuse all and sundry.”
