Jayam Ravi film has Kajal Agarwal and Samyukta Hegde as heroines

Jayam Ravi, known to be choosy about his scripts, has signed a film with debutant Pradeep Ranganathan (a finalist in a short film contest) in which he will be romancing Kajal Agarwal. The movie also features Kannada actress Samyukta Hegde, who will also be seen in a crucial role of the untitled film.

Producer Ishari K Ganesh says, “Jayam Ravi has often pushed the bar in stepping out of his comfort zone, plunging freely into new types of roles. It happens that when you come across a script, there would be an instinctive way of knowing someone most apt for the role. And as soon as director narrated the story to me, I couldn’t think of anyone more suited than than Ravi.” The shooting for the film commenced recently in Chennai.
