When three of the four boys who acted in the blockbuster film Goli Soda had already turned independent heroes and have two more films each in their kitty, the fourth one Murugesh has finally been roped in for a film titled Vinay Ariyar. Directed by Murugan who earlier made Vangakarai, the film is about four adolescent boys and a girl who are carefree in life. As the title suggests, how their innocent deeds lead to problems forms the crux.
Speaking at the audio launch of the film, debutant heroine Kamali said, “My parents totally oppose my coming to films. I walked out of my house to pursue my dreams and stayed with my grandmother who supported me. Vinay Ariyar’s success should unite me with my family.”
The film also has child artiste turned hero Jack of Yennai Arindhaal and Thani Oruvan fame, Udhayaraj and Guru. Director Manoj Kumar and lyricist Vivega were spotted among others on the occasion.
