A massive set was erected near Chennai at EVP Film City for Jiiva’s Gorilla, an action adventure film, where director Don Sandy canned important portions involving Jiiva, Satish, Yogi Babu, Rajhendran with thousands of junior artistes taking part.
It is the first time a real chimpanzee is playing a key role in the movie, which however, has been dragged into controversy by PETA.
Producer Vijayaraghavendra tells us that the film has an important social message. “A major issue has been addressed in the film which you will know when the film is out. Despite the scorching heat, Jiiva and other lead actors along with a host of artistes are giving their best day and night. I am happy the film has shaped up well and is in the wrapping up stage,” reveals Vijayaraghavendra. The team is also planning to give out the first look of the film soon.
