Riya Suman from Tollywood, who made her presence felt in films like Manju and Paper Boy, is debuting in Tamil with an action thriller. She will be the romantic pair to Jiiva in the untitled movie directed by Rathina Shiva of Rekka fame.
Talking about her film, Riya says, “So far, the roles I have done in Telugu movies have been somewhat serious, but this film portrays me in a vibrant character. Initially, I thought I could learn the Tamil language easily. But it was not that simple. Moreover, I didn’t have enough time to learn Tamil, as I had to join the shoot at earliest. Thanks to my assistants who helped me in translating the lines from Tamil to English and Hindi.”
Praising her co-star Jiiva she says, “Jiiva too has been a great help at times in aiding me render dialogues. I have to thank him and director Rathna Siva for being patient with me.”
The pretty actress also claims that she has a solid role in her debut film itself. “My character appears throughout the film. In fact, she will be huge means of help towards the protagonist in unlocking lots of mysteries.”
