Ishwarya Menon, who garnered lot attention spoofing actresses in Tamizh Padam 2, has signed a new film, which is totally a contrast to what she did earlier. The pretty actress has gone on board for a love story and murder mystery thriller, directed by debutant Sandeep, who has done few short films.
Talking to DC she says, “If TP2 was fun and my character was humor laced, the untitled new film is just the opposite of it. It is a very serious movie and I am doing a character who is totally dissimilar from what I am in real life. It has an interesting premise. I am looking forward to it.”
Ishwarya, who has yet another film with a big actor in her kitty, refuses to diverge details about it. “I feel the announcement should come from the production house,” she quips.
She also denied rumors of doing a film with actor Vemal. “I was never approached for a film with Vemal. It is a rumor.” With TP2’s exposure, the actress has also got offers from Tollywood.
