Aparna Vinod paired with Bharath

Aparna Vinod, who played a minor role in Vijay’s Bairavaa, has been cast as the female lead, opposite Bharath, in a yet-untitled suspense thriller being directed by actor Sharran.

Talking about her role, the M-town actress says, “The makers watched a couple of my Malayalam movies and felt that I would do justice to this role. I am just 22 years old, and it is a challenge for me to play a mother and a teacher. But my background in theatre has helped me refine my performance.”
