Until recently, Suriya’s 2D Entertainment only bankrolled films featuring either the actor or his family members Jyothika or Karthi. Now we hear the banner has signed actor-filmmaker Vijay Kumar who made his debut with critically-acclaimed political thriller Uriyadi.
Together, they’re planning to make a sequel to the film lauded for its realistic portrayal and original screenplay, with Vijay Kumar playing the lead role. It’s reported that they’re currently in the process of working out the details.
