Krrish Menon has got the break he has been awaiting from his childhood. The actor who has played the character Atul in Achcham Yenbadhu Madamaiyada, opens up about his journey of becoming a actor, future aspirations and more. Meeting Gautam Menon has been a turning point in Krrish’s journey — “I managed to get Gautham’s number and called him. I met him much later. I just started talking to him about films and my ambitions.” Five minutes into the conversation, Gautham asked Krrish to join his project which unfortunately got delayed.
Meanwhile, Krrish got a job in a corporate company but he gave up the job to join in post-production unit of Needhane Yen Ponvasantham. However, his ambitions of becoming an actor started to materialise when he started to assist Gautham in Ajith’s Yennai Arindhaal. It was Ajith who suggested Krrish to go for acting and he ended up playing a small role in YA. Eventually he also bagged a role in the recently-released AYM, but Krish thought his role might get axed — “I played the role in both the Telugu and Tamil versions and it was not a big role to begin with. Knowing the film industry, I was worried about my role being edited so I never told anybody. But all’s worked out now!
