Shruti Haasan who was busy with projects in Tamil and Telugu, is said to be re-entering Bollywood with a movie Behen Hogi Teri, the shoot of which is underway in Lucknow. Playing her co-star in the rom-com is Rajkummar Rao of Dangal fame.
Reportedly, Shruti’s emotional performance moved the entire unit to tears recently. An inside source from the sets revealed, “Shruti has been a complete delight with the crew, in fact she has been delivering some extraordinary performances. She recently put up a very stirring emotional performance for a particular scene, which brought the crew to tears! The director was delighted with her realistic feat and congratulated her.”
Speaking about her experience, Shruti says, “The entire crew has been great to work with. The energy on the sets is palpable and is always upbeat and encouraging despite the freezing cold in Lucknow (smiles). It’s a lovely story and I do hope people like it as much we do as a team.”
