It has been three years since Madras released and Kalaiyarasan is still synonymous with the character of ‘Anbu’ he portrayed in the movie. Many films released post that, and the actor also turned solo with Yeidhavan and a couple more projects.
Recently, we spotted him in the Sodakku song teaser that was released yesterday from the album of Thaanaa Serndha Kootam. A source close to the team reveals, “It is true that Kalaiyarasan is a part of the movie, helmed by Vignesh Shivan. But don’t pay heed to the rumours about him playing a full-fledged role; he will be seen in a guest role that will leave an impact on the audience.”
Even after becoming a hero, Kalaiyarasan has never shied away from doing multi-starrers or character roles in films. He has now wrapped up a romantic flick directed by debutant director Janakiraman. This untitled venture is produced by director-producer CV Kumar.
