I thank all filmmakers who wrote scripts for me: Trisha

...says actress Trisha, who completed 15 years in the film industry.

Completing 15 years and 65 films in five different languages and sharing screen space with the likes of Kamal, Suriya, Vikram, Ajith, Vijay, Dhanush, Akshay Kumar and still ruling the roost with half a dozen films on hand, is not a mean achievement. Trisha Krishnan, who debuted with Mounam Pesiyadhe on December 13, 2002, has completed 15 years in tinsel town.

In an exclusive to DC, an elated Trisha says, “I am so grateful and overwhelmed with the love pouring in. And a big thanks to my fans, who have stood by me through it all. I would also like to thank my directors, who have written scripts for me and given me such wonderful films.”

Earlier, Trisha took to her Twitter handle and wrote, “If there’s one thing I did right, it was choosing to stand for against all odds, go with purely my gut, give it my 100% while it gave me back double, this is it. And I wouldn’t trade a day for anything else.Thank you all for being part of my most beautiful journey #15yearsoffilms # theshowwillgoon.” (sic)

The pretty actress has won many awards and championed for several causes including the recent one — being appointed as the Goodwill Ambassador of United Nations for their Childrens health initiatives. Presently, Trisha is busy with several movies including Sathuranga Vettai 2, 96, Hey Jude and 1818.
