At a time when television actresses were only offered supporting roles in films, Priya was cast opposite Vaibhav as the leading lady of Meyaadha Maan. She then had the opportunity to share screen space with Karthi in Kadaikutty Singam, and now, she's all set to romance Atharvaa in his next film Kuruthi Aattam directed by Sri Ganesh of 8 Thottakkal fame.
