New-age producer CV Kumar is known for backing quirky scripts with solid content. He’s introduced many young talents to the film industry in the past and this time he’s launching debutant filmmaker Janakiraman, a former assistant of Bala, Sudha Kongara and Balaji Mohan.
Janakiraman’s upcoming rom-com, Titanic, has Kalaiyarasan, Anandhi and Ashna Zaveri in the lead roles. Speaking about the film, the director says, "It is a full-fledged romantic film laced with comedy, and anyone who watches it will connect with it at one point or another. The quirkiness in the climax sequences and all the twists and turns will come as a pleasant shock to the audience."
According to a unit-hand, the highlight of the movie is its unpredictable screenplay.
Titanic features Kaali Venkat, Madhumitha, Raghav Vijay, Chethan, Devadarshini and Sudha in its supporting cast. Actress Gayathri and Balaji Mohan also make special appearances in the film. Nivas K. Prasanna of Thegidi fame has composed the music and Ballu has done the cinematography.
