A long pending project of the actress Udhayathara is finally seeing the light of day. Titled Brammaputra, the story revolves around two thick friends and has Dinesh Babu and Murali as the lead heroes and is directed by Thomas. Udhayathara and Akshatha are the two lead ladies.
“Films that delve on friendship are all time favourites in Tamil cinema. Though, Brammaputra release was delayed, it will go well with the present day audiences,” claims the director.
There’s a murder mystery angle to the story, he adds. Delhi Ganesh, Paandu and Vaiyapuri provide comic quotient. With ‘U’ certification from Censor Board, the flick is to hit the marquee in July end.
