Hebah Patel made her debut in Tamil with Jai-starrer Thirumanam Ennum Nikkah, which received lukewarm response, a few years ago. She went back to Telugu for better fortunes. Now, one of her Tollywood movies, Angel, directed by Baahubali Pazhani, a close aide of SS Rajamouli, is being released in Tamil as Vinnai Thaandi Vandha Angel.
Talking about his film, Pazhani says, “It is a socio-fantasy subject and Naga Anvesh plays the protagonist. The hero and his friend want to earn a quick buck and live life to the fullest. A happy-go-lucky girl enters their life and the trio gets trapped in a deadly situation. How they come out their predicament forms the rest of the plot.”
He adds, “We have used graphics extensively, since it’s a fantasy. There’s a lot of action as well as fun moments in the movie.”
The film has Suman, Shayaji Shinde, Pithamagan Mahadevan, Pradeep Rawat and Kabeer Singh as supporting cast. Recently, the Tamil audio was launched in the city, with many celebs, including the lead pair.
