Rashmika Mandana, a popular name in Telugu and Kannada, joined the mahurat of the untitled film along with the cast and crew of the Karthi film that was held recently in the city.
A big budget action and emotional comedy, the film produced by Dream Warrior Pictures is directed by Bhagyaraj Kannan of Remo fame. Karthi has quickly wrapped up his action thriller Kaidhi and joined the sets of the new film titled tentatively Karthi 19.
Expensive sets have been erected by art director Rajeevan and Jai in Chennai where the shooting commenced. Yogi Babu is also part of the cast. Vivek-Mervin composes the music and Dileep Subbarayan is in charge of stunts. Sathyan Sooriyan is behind the camera.
Rashmika took to her twitter handle and wrote, “I’ve always had such great support from my Kannada and Telugu people. And you have also been asking me to come to Tamil and in 2019...I finally am!! I am so happy to be doing a film with this team. This is a new beginning. With loads of love from me to you.”
