The industry is abuzz with the rumour that composer Sathya of Engeyum Epodhum fame has roped in Bigg Boss contestants Oviya and lyricist Snehan for his debut production venture, which will be directed by a newcomer.
Everyone seems to want to quickly cash in on the present popularity of Oviya and have been offering her commercials — while some of her old films, which were lying in the cans, are gearing up for release. Even one of her earlier movies titled Cheeni, was rechristened as Oviyaavai Vitta Yaaru!
So, when the news of the Kalavani girl teaming up with poet Snehan, one of her close aides in Bigg Boss became viral, it was a big surprise to many.

However, when we contacted Sathya, all he had to say was, “Yes, I am planning to produce movies and I’ve been listening to scripts. I finalised two scripts and for one of them, I felt Snehan and Oviya would be apt for the lead pair. I have discussed it with Snehan, who has agreed to come on board. He will also pen the lyrics.”

Reportedly, Oviya has said that she was unaware of any such developments. When we pointed the denial from Oviya, the composer said, “Snehan sir is initiating the talks with Oviya. Accordingly, I was told that she was ready to listen to the script.”
Oviya is presently busy with movies like Kaatteri, Kanchana 3 and a few more films, including a cameo in Vishnu Vishal’s Silukuvarpatti.
