Actor Kreshna says that T’town actress Swathy Reddy who co-stars with him in director Kuzhandhai Velappan’s Yakkai is the prettiest and most talented girl around. “I always take time, think ten times, and rehearse how to outsmart her before going for a shot,” he compliments her at the movie’s audio launch. He also says that he and Yuvan Shankar Raja miss late lyricist Muthukumar. “The super Aathaadi number was penned by late lyricist Na Muthukumar in a jiffy. Yuvan and Muthukumar sir got along very well. There’s not been a day when we haven’t spoken about him! We miss him a lot,” he fondly recalls.
Talking about the movie, he said, “It is a non-linear and complex patterned subject. Noone believed this would work, except my producer Muthukumaran. My sincere thanks to him!” A major talking point in Kreshna’s movies is the musical score of Yuvan. Here also it is no different, admits Kreshna. “Without Yuvan, I am nobody,” he signs off on a touching note.
