To go with the mood of Valentine's Day, Tamil filmmakers are releasing romantic singles from their flicks like Junga on Feb. 14. Some well-known musicians like Kumar Narayanan, Kaashif Rafiq (one of his songs shortlisted in Oscar Awards), are also coming out with a private album with romantic and breakup themes.
Vijay Sethupathi's Junga has already garnered huge attention for the actor's looks. While he plays a stylish gangster in the movie directed by Gokul, the makers are releasing a single track in Siddharth Vipin's composition today.
Music composer Kumar Narayanan, known for his private music videos on various subjects including Roar for CSK, an anthem for Dhoni and Hey Hindustan, on the sacrifices made by the Indian Army, is releasing his private album on romance and breakup titled En Kaadhal Kanmani. EKK is a cute love song where the couple becomes closer after a small fight. Sung by Kumar and Anupama Prakash, Saintune Studios has released it.
Kaashif Rafiq, nephew of AR Rahman and one of his songs from the Hollywood film Lake Of Fire which has been shortlisted in the Academy Awards, has come out with a breakup melody titled Kaadhal. Rafiq's earlier singles Kannaley and Po Po received critical acclaim. Sid Sriram and Jonita Gandhu have sung the number.
