Valentine’s Day is a day of love. But it is to celebrate the love that you share with the people who matter. What I feel is everyday should be Valentine’s Day as love is a feeling that can be celebrated whenever.

I have major plans for this Valentine’s Day. I am not going to celebrate with one single person but with a bunch of people. I have been invited by an engineering college for their cultural programme on Feb. 14 and am going to spend some good time with all the students over there.

So Valentine’s Day is obviously very important for everyone. I do think it’s slightly overrated for people who are in a relationship. Fortunately, I’m cursed every year and I’m always single, so I haven’t really celebrated V-Day with a partner or anything. But it’s a nice day for people who are in a relationship to remind themselves that they have somebody who is really important and also it’s a nice day for singles to remind themselves that one day in the future they’re going to be falling in love. But yeah, I’ll be single this year and I’ve literally begged my mother to send me flowers to feel a bit important, so, only my mom will be sending flowers this year! I’ll be spending V-Day with my very close friends and I think that’s the best option. You can also feel loved to be with your friends and not just in a relationship. That’s my opinion of V-Day. To all the people who are in love - all the best, and for those who aren’t - all the best in finding love too!

Valentine’s Day has been big with my girl gang. Six of us — though some of them have partners — make sure we meet on V’day for lunch and we exchange gifts and flowers. Those get-togethers I have cherished for long. Apart from this, I would give best gift to my mom as she is the dearest person to me and I love her most. I also give my brother something specific.

Basically Valentine’s Day is coming and uh, I’m not a person who, as in I’m not someone who gets really excited about V-Day because just a particular day to celebrate love - love is just not constricted to a single day. It’s cool for couples and all, but this V-Day I’m really excited because we’re releasing a song which I collaborated with my band friends called Lagori. And that is special to me because I’m not only featuring in that song but I’ve actually sung that song and that will be my first singing debut.

On Valentine’s Day, I’ll be shooting a Telugu film. I’m thinking every year as to whether a ‘miracle’ will take place on Valentine’s Day, waiting for a surprise element or a superb proposal coming my way. And I’ll definitely continue waiting! Also, since I’m a cake lover, I’ll be buying myself a cake and eating it too! That’s all for my Valentine’s Day besides the shoot.
