Taapsee was mobbed recently, when she had gone to inaugurate a jewellery showroom in Salem. Apparently, a huge crowd gathered outside the store to get a glimpse of the Aadukalam star. No sooner than the event got over, Taapsee walked out of the showroom towards her car. For a while, there was total chaos with fans seeking her autograph.
Sources said that the crowd was creating a ruckus and shouting her name. Despite security measures, a few even tried to pull her hands, which resulted in commotion, the source added. However, she was escorted to her hotel safely. It is said that the police had to resort to lathi charge to disperse the crowd. When we contacted Taapsee, she said, “It was one of those regular incidents that would happen to anyone when you go in between public. This has happened to me a few times earlier. I am quite fine. All is well.
